Sitka is easily managed on foot. Guests are within three blocks of shopping, restaurants, schools, harbor, seashore and just a fifteen minute walk to trails, museums, galleries and central business district. Cab from bed and breakfast to business district and attractions is $4.50 (the minimum rate last season). The bed and breakfast is located within this "downtown minimum-cab-rate-zone." Sitka Tours airport and ferry shuttle buses bring guests right to the door and return guests to the ferry or the airport regardless of the time of day or night for a nominal fee ($3.00-$5.00). Save by purchasing a round-trip ticket for $7.00. Tickets are interchangeable and honored by both the ferry and airport shuttles.
